In a recent press conference held by Galaxy Corporation, the management agency representing K-pop artist G-Dragon, it was announced that the police investigation into alleged illegal drug use has concluded with no suspension for the artist. Cho Sung-hae, chief ESG officer of Galaxy Corporation, reiterated that G-Dragon has been cleared of any involvement in illegal drug activities.
While G-Dragon was not present at the press conference, a letter delivered by Oh Hee-young, chief ESG officer of Galaxy Corporation, outlined the artist's plans for the future. G-Dragon expressed a commitment to establish a foundation aimed at providing assistance and treatment to individuals struggling with drug addiction.
G-Dragon, who recently signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation after leaving his former agency YG Entertainment, shared his vision for the future in the letter. The artist expressed gratitude for the support received from his fan community, VIP, and announced plans to make the foundation's first donation under their name.
The foundation aims to contribute to creating a society that values respect and fair treatment for all. In addition to addressing drug abuse, G-Dragon expressed a commitment to nurturing talented artists who lack opportunities to grow.
Looking ahead, G-Dragon is expected to hold a press conference with local reporters and meet with fans early next year to discuss his comeback and the initiatives outlined in the foundation.
