Le Sserafim’s HOT Makes a Blazing Debut With Over 570,000 Copies Sold on Day One

Le Sserafim’s latest release is off to an explosive start. Their fifth mini-album, HOT, sold approximately 567,735 copies on its first day, securing the No. 1 spot on album sales charts.
Released on March 14 at 1 PM (KST), HOT immediately climbed to the top of Hanteo Chart, setting a strong commercial precedent for the group’s latest comeback.
The album also made a significant impact on iTunes. As of March 15 at 9 AM (KST), HOT debuted at No. 3 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart and ranked on the Top Albums chart in 34 countries and regions, including Japan, the United States, France, and Russia.
Notably, the album secured a Top 10 ranking in 27 countries and regions, including Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia. The title track HOT also entered the Top Songs chart in 25 countries and regions, such as Sweden, Canada, France, and the United States.
The response to the B-sides was equally strong. On March 14 at 6 PM (KST), all tracks from the album ranked within the Top 5 of AWA Japan’s real-time rising chart, demonstrating widespread interest from international fans.
The music video for HOT further solidified the group's global presence. As of March 15 at 9 AM (KST), it ranked among YouTube’s trending videos in 21 countries, including No. 2 in Canada, No. 5 in the U.S., and No. 9 in the U.K. The video also topped both YouTube Trending Worldwide and Music Video Trending Worldwide rankings.
Musically, HOT blends rock and disco elements into an energetic pop track that delivers a bold message: even if the outcome is uncertain, we will give everything for what we love. The song is further enhanced by the group’s unique choreography, adding a striking visual element to the performance.
Le Sserafim is set to continue their promotional activities, kicking off with a live performance of HOT on MBC’s Show! Music Core at 3:15 PM (KST) on March 16.
