(G)I-DLE has ignited anticipation among fans with a cryptic teaser, hinting at an imminent group comeback or solo release.
On March 14, Cube Entertainment unveiled a "Coming Soon" teaser image on (G)I-DLE’s official social media channels. The image features a blue car with a yellow poster tucked under the windshield wiper, displaying the text: "Release on 2025. 03. 17. 6PM". Additionally, a cassette player appears in the scene, fueling speculation about an upcoming album.
The teaser’s minimalistic yet nostalgic aesthetic has sparked curiosity regarding the concept of the new release. Fans are eager to uncover whether this signals a full-group comeback or another solo project from a member of (G)I-DLE.
The group achieved tremendous success in 2024, securing major awards such as the Grand Record Award at the Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) and the Record of the Year at the Melon Music Awards (MMA). Their momentum carried into 2025, with (G)I-DLE winning two awards at the 39th Golden Disc Awards in January and taking home the Best Song Award at the 32nd Hanteo Music Awards in February.
Their last group release was the mini-album I SWAY in July 2024, which further solidified their position as one of K-pop’s most influential acts. In addition, Minnie made her solo debut in January 2025 with the album HER, demonstrating the group’s versatility in both unit and individual projects.
With the teaser image leaving more questions than answers, fans eagerly await March 17 at 6 PM KST, when (G)I-DLE is set to unveil the full details of their latest project.
