Changdeokgung Palace in Seoul will host its popular fall edition Moonlight Tour from September 4 through October 26, 2025, running Thursday through Sunday evenings. This enchanting program showcases the palace's stunning beauty and romantic atmosphere during autumn nights, offering visitors a unique cultural experience that combines historical architecture with traditional Korean arts.
During the tours, visitors will carry traditional Korean lanterns called cheongsachorong as they explore the palace's major halls and pavilions alongside knowledgeable guides. The experience is enhanced by traditional Korean music performances, tea ceremonies, and various cultural performing arts that bring the palace's rich history to life. The guided tours provide insight into the architectural significance and historical importance of one of Seoul's most treasured UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Recognizing the growing international interest in Korean culture, organizers have scheduled four special sessions exclusively for foreign visitors on September 28 and October 5, 12, and 19. These international tours will feature professional commentary available in English, Chinese, and Japanese, making the cultural experience accessible to visitors from around the world.
