On Saturday, BTS' V held a solo fan meeting event titled "Vicnic" at the Kyung Hee University Global Campus in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. The event attracted around 1,400 fans and took place at an outdoor theater. V, also known as Kim Tae-hyung, had recently made his official solo debut with the EP "Layover."
During the 120-minute fan meeting, V engaged with fans through various segments. He revisited music videos from his album, including "Love Me Again," "Blue," and "For Us," sharing behind-the-scenes stories from their production. V expressed a particular fondness for the aesthetics of the "Love Me Again" music video, considering it special.
The event featured playful games, with fans divided into two teams: the BTS team and the Army team (referring to the BTS fandom). V and the fans enjoyed activities such as table tennis, dancing to a random roulette of songs, and charades. Fellow BTS member Jimin made a surprise appearance during the games, joining V as a teammate and engaging in friendly banter. The two also delighted the crowd with an impromptu performance of their duet song, "Friends."
V showcased his musical talent by performing "Slow Dancing" and "For Us" from his solo album. He concluded the evening with a heartfelt message to his fans, expressing gratitude and emphasizing his desire to spend a day filled with laughter and joy.
BTS' V, a member of the globally popular K-pop band, continues to be in the spotlight as the group anticipates the launch of a 10th-anniversary project for their iconic "Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa" album series.
