Actor Han So-hee took to social media on Friday to address speculation surrounding her relationship with fellow actor Ryu Jun-yeol and made remarks regarding Ryu's ex-girlfriend Hyeri.

In a now-deleted post, Han refuted claims that her relationship with Ryu was a "rebound" on his part, stating that they first met in November 2023 at his photo exhibition. She emphasized that they had no prior acquaintance before that time.

The drama unfolded after reports surfaced on March 15 that Han and Ryu were seen together in Hawaii. On the same day, Hyeri posted an Instagram story with the caption "this is fun" and unfollowed Ryu's account, sparking rumors that Han and Ryu began dating before Ryu's breakup with Hyeri in November.

Hyeri later apologized for her response, acknowledging it as "very personal and emotional." However, she noted that she and Ryu had agreed to communicate more after their breakup.

Han's agency, 9ato Entertainment, declined to comment on the matter.

Both Han and Ryu confirmed their relationship through their respective agencies on March 16 and expressed intentions to take legal action against defamatory comments.
