South Korean girl group TWICE, one of the biggest names in K-pop, is set to release their tenth single in Japan, "Hare Hare," on May 31, according to their label JYP Entertainment. The company recently teased photos from the upcoming single album on social media.
In addition to the new release, TWICE is also preparing for their first-ever stadium concerts in Japan, making them the first K-pop girl group to hold such events in the country. The concerts are scheduled to take place in Osaka and Tokyo on May 13-14 and 20-21, respectively, as part of their fifth international tour, which started last weekend in Seoul. The tour is set to include 23 concerts across 14 regions around the world.
Moreover, three of the group's Japanese members - Mina, Sana, and Momo - will debut as a subunit in July in their home country. The trio, known as "Misamo," will be TWICE's first subunit and is expected to showcase the members' unique talents and styles.
TWICE has gained a massive following since their debut in 2015, with hit songs like "TT," "Cheer Up," and "Fancy." They have achieved great success both domestically and internationally, with multiple chart-topping albums and sold-out concerts around the world. With the upcoming release of "Hare Hare" and their stadium concerts in Japan, TWICE continues to cement their status as one of the most popular and influential K-pop acts of our time.
