Several male solo artists are making waves in the music industry this May, with each bringing their unique style and sound to the forefront.
Lim Young-woong, renowned for his success on the trot audition program "Mr. Trot," recently released two tracks, "Warmth" and "Home," both of which swiftly ascended to the top two spots on major music charts in Korea within an hour of their debut. Scheduled to perform at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on May 25-26, Lim is expected to draw crowds of over 100,000 attendees.
D.O., also known as Doh Kyung Soo and a member of the popular group EXO, has returned as a solo artist with his third mini-album, "Blossom." His album includes six tracks, with "Popcorn" as a pre-released single and "Mars" as the title track. D.O. is gearing up for his first solo fan concert tour, "Bloom," starting in Seoul in June and spanning nine Asian cities.
BTOB's Yook Sung-jae is set to release his new solo single, "Exhibition: Look Closely," four years after his last solo project. The album, produced under his new agency, IWillMedia, features tracks that showcase Sung-jae's versatility as a solo artist. His fan meeting, "Look Closely," will be held in Seoul on May 18-19.
