Itzy's Lia has announced her decision not to participate in the upcoming album and international tour of the group, as conveyed in a handwritten letter shared on her Instagram account on Friday. In the letter addressed to her fans, Lia expressed that, after careful consideration and contemplation, she has chosen to prioritize her health and will be taking the time to focus on recovery, thereby opting out of the collaborative efforts for the new album and the upcoming world tour.
In the same announcement, Lia revealed the release of a solo track titled "Blossom," accompanied by a lyrics video. She mentioned that the song encapsulates her genuine sentiments, intended as a message to her fans.
Lia has been on a hiatus since September, citing anxiety issues as the reason for her temporary withdrawal from group activities.
