Blackpink’s 2022-2023 world tour has been adapted into a film set to premiere in movie theaters on July 31, aligning with the K-pop group's eighth debut anniversary, YG Entertainment announced on Friday. The film, titled “Blackpink World Tour Born Pink in Cinemas,” will document the group’s extensive tour that included performances in 34 cities over 66 concerts and attracted approximately 1.8 million fans, setting a record for the largest audience for a K-pop girl group.
The film will be available in over 110 countries, providing a global audience with a cinematic experience of the tour.
In other news, Blackpink member Lisa released a teaser on Thursday for her upcoming solo single “Rockstar,” which is scheduled for release on June 27. The teaser, featuring striking visuals, garnered significant attention from fans. Additionally, it was announced on Tuesday that Rose has signed with The Black Label and is working on a solo album.
