BEAK Jungki's Solo Exhibition 'All in One' Explores the Essence of Life through Scientific Artistry

SEOUL, May 18, 2023 (SayArt) - Arario Gallery Seoul is set to host a captivating solo exhibition by artist BEAK Jungki titled "All in One," running from May 24th to July 1st, 2023. Known for his meticulous exploration and research into the nature of objects and materials, BEAK Jungki (b. 1981) visually articulates his artistic concepts through scientific experiments, creating thought-provoking works.
The exhibition unveils BEAK's recent series that he has meticulously researched and developed over the past years, offering audiences an immersive experience. On the first basement floor, viewers can witness the intriguing "Candle Generator and Egg Incubator, (2023)," an ongoing project that has seen continuous evolution since 2015. The first floor showcases "Active Statue (2023)," while the third floor presents the "Is of (2018-2023)" series. The deliberate placement of the series across different levels of the gallery enhances the sense of immersion for visitors, encouraging a deeper engagement with the artworks.
At the heart of BEAK's creations lies the perpetual themes of creation, extinction, and change, as he relentlessly delves into the essence of life itself. With a fundamental approach to matter, he seeks to unravel the mysteries of existence through his artistic expressions.
BEAK Jungki pursued his studies in three-dimensional art at Kookmin University in 2004 before further honing his craft at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art in England in 2008. His artistic prowess has been showcased in numerous exhibitions, earning him accolades and recognition within the art community.
