The debut album “This Man” by Jeonghan X Wonwoo, a subunit of the boy band Seventeen, has set a new record for the highest first-week sales for a K-pop subunit album, selling 695,027 copies within four days of its release, as reported by market tracker Hanteo Chart on Friday at 11 a.m.
Pledis Entertainment described "This Man" as an album inspired by the urban legend of a mysterious man appearing in dreams worldwide. The album includes tracks such as “Last Night,” Jeonghan’s solo piece “Beautiful Monster,” and Wonwoo’s solo song “Leftover.”
Jeonghan X Wonwoo debuted the dance performance for “Last Night” on Mnet’s music show “M Countdown” on Thursday. The subunit also featured on the U.S. digital music platform Genius the same day, participating in its “Open Mic” live performance segment.
In addition, Seventeen performed at the Weverse Con 2024 festival on Sunday at Incheon’s Inspire Entertainment Resort, taking the stage on the second day of the event.
