K-pop boy band Golden Child has made a comeback after a year and three months with their third single, "Feel Me." Comprising 10 members, the group held a press event in Seoul, offering insights into the emotions behind their new album.
Daeyeol, who returned to the group after his military discharge last September, expressed his excitement at rejoining the team and connecting with fans after his hiatus. Member Y was absent due to military enlistment, a common occurrence in Korean boy bands.
Golden Child's latest release follows their previous album, "AURA," from August 2022. With "Feel Me," the group aims to showcase their evolved charm to their audience.
Jibeom described the album as "a musical multivitamin," featuring fresh musical endeavors that offer fans various experiences, from energetic love to sentimental moments.
The title track, "Feel Me," is an autobiographical rock song that reflects the shared journey of the group's members who have grown up together. Bomin emphasized that the track encapsulates the blend of joy and pain experienced during their journey and delivers a comforting message.
The album includes tracks "Blind Love" and "Dear," with Tag contributing to the lyrics and composition of "Dear." Jaehyun recommended "Blind Love" as a perfect track for commutes or uplifting mornings.
Entering their seventh year in the industry, Golden Child has evolved their image, focusing on a sense of maturity and deeper narratives. Seungmin highlighted the group's transformation and the mature image presented in their latest album.
As they embark on this new chapter, the members have set various goals, including stronger connections with fans both at home and abroad, expressing their desire to interact with fans from all around the world through concerts and fan meetings.
