The latest digital single from BTS member V, titled “Fri(end)s,” has maintained its position on Britain’s Official Singles Chart for the second consecutive week, ranking at number 68.
The song, which debuted on March 15, marks the artist’s first solo release since “Layover” in the previous year.
Described as a pop-soul track, “Fri(end)s” features lyrics entirely in English and thematically focuses on a romantic confession to a friend.
V, known for his role in the globally recognized K-pop group BTS, has been fulfilling his mandatory military service since December.
This service is part of a broader commitment by all seven members of BTS, who are currently engaged in military duties or serving as social service agents as required by South Korean law.
