Spain-based record label group, Guerssen Records, is set to officially release the renowned songs of legendary Korean rock trio Sanullim in Europe. The rerelease project encompasses four separate LPs, initiated through licensing agreements with the band.
The four Sanullim LPs include rereleases of their first album, "Already Now," the second album "Spread Silk on My Heart," the third album "My Heart (My Soul Is a Wasteland)," and the compilation album "Evening Breeze.” The compilation album, curated by Guerssen Records CEO Antoni Gorgues, features 23 songs from Sanullim's fourth to ninth albums, including notable tracks like "Let's Go to the Vineyard," "An Hourglass in Midday," "Tomorrow and Tomorrow Again," and "A Strange Day Like This."
While Sanullim's lyrical ballad-style works are favorites among Korean fans, the compilation album focuses on the band's early music characterized by intense distortion and psychedelic rock sounds employing the organ.
Each of the four LPs includes English liner notes by Hugh Deller from Shindig magazine, along with various photos of Sanullim and articles about the group. The LP covers are designed by Spanish illustrator Mario Feal.
The remastered Sanullim LPs are scheduled to be available for sale through major online and offline stores in Europe starting this Friday.
