K-pop boy group Zerobaseone launched a pop-up store in collaboration with IPX, the digital IP platform company formerly known as Line Friends, on Friday. The store, located at the Line Friends store in Gangnam, southern Seoul, celebrates the release of the group’s third EP, “You Had Me at Hello,” and will be open until June 9.
The pop-up store offers various merchandise featuring Zerobaseone’s official cartoon characters, “Zeroni.” A photo zone designed to resemble the bus stop depicted on the cover of the new EP is also part of the store’s attractions.
Zerobaseone is additionally collaborating with approximately 700 Life4cuts stores globally, including locations in the US, UK, and Japan. Life4cuts, a Korean photo booth service for creating four-image photo strips, has produced nine different picture frames featuring each member of Zerobaseone and three group frames. These frames will be available until July 1.
Zerobaseone’s third EP, released on May 13, sold over 1 million copies on its first day, matching the performance of their previous two albums. The group, which debuted in July last year through the audition program “Boys Planet,” is the first rookie band in K-pop history to achieve this milestone. Their first and second EPs have both surpassed 2 million units in sales to date.
