Ador, the agency representing K-pop group NewJeans, announced on Friday the opening of a pop-up store in Seoul to promote the group's new single “How Sweet.” The store will operate from June 5 to 17.
The pop-up store, themed after a retro vinyl record shop, will feature a photo zone with an analog aesthetic and a variety of merchandise, including items from a collaboration with The Powerpuff Girls.
NewJeans’ double single “How Sweet,” released last week, sold over 810,000 copies on its release day. The title track reached No. 2 on Melon’s Top 100 chart, while the pre-release track “Bubble Gum” held the No. 5 spot. The music video for “How Sweet” became the most-viewed video on YouTube within 24 hours of its release, with the performance video following closely in second place.
