The Korean Cultural Center New York is launching a new film series called "New Korean Movie Night: KOCCA Spotlight" in partnership with the Korea Creative Content Agency. The special screening program will present two contemporary Korean films to New York audiences during November 2025, offering free admission to promote Korean cinema and cultural exchange.
The film series will kick off on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, at 7:30 PM with a screening of "Oh My Ghost Clients" (노무사 노무진), followed by the second presentation on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at 7:30 PM featuring "Dr. B-Pang" (닥터 비팡). Both screenings will take place at the Korean Cultural Center New York, located at 122 East 32nd Street, New York, NY 10016.
While tickets are free of charge, advance reservations are required through the center's RSVP system. Seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and organizers have indicated that limited same-day standby tickets will be available for those who were unable to secure advance reservations. All Korean dialogue in the featured films will include English subtitles to ensure accessibility for English-speaking audiences.
The Korean Cultural Center has established specific policies for the event series to ensure smooth operations. Cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled screening time. Additionally, attendees who fail to show up for three reserved screenings without prior notice may face restrictions on future reservation privileges. Those seeking additional information about the program can contact the center at film@koreanculture.org.
This collaboration between the Korean Cultural Center New York and the Korea Creative Content Agency represents an ongoing effort to showcase Korean creative content to American audiences and strengthen cultural ties between Korea and the United States. More detailed information about the KOCCA Spotlight program is available on the Korean Cultural Center's official website at https://www.koreanculture.org/films/2025/11/06/kocca-spotlight.
