The Korean Cultural Center New York, in partnership with the Korea Creative Content Agency, has announced a special movie night series called "KOCCA SPOTLIGHT" featuring two contemporary Korean films. The free screening events are scheduled for November 2025, offering New York audiences an opportunity to experience modern Korean cinema with English subtitles.
The series will kick off on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, at 7:30 PM with the screening of "Oh My Ghost Clients" (노무사 노무진). The second film, "Dr. B-Pang" (닥터 비팡), will be presented on Thursday, November 20th, 2025, also at 7:30 PM. Both screenings will take place at the Korean Cultural Center New York, located at 122 E 32nd Street, New York, NY 10016.
While admission to both screenings is completely free, advance registration is required through the center's online RSVP system. Seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis for those who have made reservations. The center will also offer a limited number of standby tickets on the day of each screening for those who haven't pre-registered.
Organizers have established several guidelines for attendees to ensure smooth operations. All cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled screening time. The center has implemented a policy whereby individuals who fail to show up for three events without prior notice may face restrictions on future reservations. Additionally, all Korean dialogue in both films will be accompanied by English subtitles to accommodate international audiences.
Those interested in attending can access the RSVP forms through the center's dedicated links: the November 6th screening registration is available through a specific Google Forms link, while the November 20th event has its own separate registration portal. For any additional questions or concerns, attendees are encouraged to contact the center directly at film@koreanculture.org. Detailed information about the complete program can be found on the Korean Cultural Center's official website under their film programming section.
