BTS’s Jin is set to celebrate the release of his first solo album Happy with a fan showcase titled “Jin ‘Happy’ Special Stage,” which will take place on November 16-17 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. Big Hit Music, Jin’s agency, announced on Wednesday that the event will be live-streamed for fans worldwide, allowing BTS’s global audience to participate in the celebrations.
During the two-day showcase, Jin will perform songs from Happy, which will be released on November 15. Alongside live performances, Jin plans to share behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the album, offering fans a unique glimpse into his creative process. This is the first time Jin, the eldest member of BTS, is presenting an album as a solo artist, marking a significant milestone in his music career.
Jin will also release a prerelease single titled “I’ll Be There” on Friday at 1 p.m., giving fans an early taste of what to expect from Happy. The album consists of six tracks, including the prerelease single and the lead track “Running Wild,” all of which are centered around band-style music, reflecting Jin’s love for rock and band sounds.
The fan showcase is expected to be an intimate yet grand event where Jin can connect with fans on a personal level, both live and online. The global livestream reflects Big Hit Music’s commitment to connecting BTS members with their international fanbase, ARMY, no matter where they are. Given BTS’s widespread popularity, the showcase is anticipated to draw a massive virtual audience alongside those attending in person.
