ATEEZ has earned another music show win with “BAD” nearly three months after the song’s release.
The group took first place on the Sept. 13 episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo” with the title track from its 14th mini album, “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5.” ATEEZ did not appear on the broadcast.
Released on June 26, “BAD” has continued to register music show wins following the end of its official promotional period. The song also topped MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on Aug. 22 without a broadcast appearance by the group.
Its domestic chart position has also improved over time. After entering Melon’s TOP100 at No. 81, the track climbed to No. 7 as of Sept. 13.
“GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 228,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States during its opening week. Album sales accounted for 223,000 units. Both figures marked career highs for ATEEZ.
The continued rise of “BAD” on streaming and broadcast charts indicates that the track’s commercial performance has extended beyond its initial release and promotion cycle.
