South Korean girl group GFRIEND is making a highly anticipated comeback to mark their 10th debut anniversary. Source Music announced on December 2, 2023, that the group will release a special album titled Season of Memories on January 13, 2024. Ahead of the album's release, a new single from the album will be pre-released on January 6 at noon KST.

Adding to the excitement, GFRIEND will also hold a solo concert titled GFRIEND 10th Anniversary Season of Memories on January 18 and 19 at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. This marks the group’s return to the stage as a full six-member lineup, stirring nostalgia and anticipation among fans.

The first teaser poster has already heightened expectations. The image depicts the members joyfully running through a snowy field, a visual metaphor for the warmth and sentimentality associated with their 10-year journey. Fans have expressed excitement at seeing the group reunited, eagerly anticipating the new project.

The special album and concert are part of a broader project commemorating GFRIEND’s 10th anniversary. According to Source Music, this initiative reflects the group’s desire to create cherished memories for their fans, known as Buddy. The six members have worked together to ensure that both the album and concert embody their gratitude and connection to their fanbase.

A Source Music representative noted, “This event is not only a celebration of GFRIEND’s numerous hit songs but also a moment to reflect on the memories shared between the members and their fans. It will be a meaningful experience for all music lovers.”

The promotional campaign for the new album kicked off with a logo reveal. This short teaser begins with the iconic intro from Me Gustas Tu (2015) accompanied by fan chants, followed by an enchanting scene of shimmering stars and the unveiling of a new team logo. The teaser has already captured the hearts of fans, many of whom have followed GFRIEND since their debut.

Since their debut on January 16, 2015, GFRIEND has released a series of hit songs including Glass Bead, Me Gustas Tu, Rough, and MAGO. The group is celebrated for their unique “Power Innocence” concept, blending youthful charm with precise choreography. Their music, which ranges from intense and poignant to dreamy and ethereal, has consistently resonated with both fans and the broader public.
