The sci-fi action film "Alienoid: Return to the Future," directed by Choi Dong-hoon, has been invited to two prominent international film festivals in Europe. Organized by CJ ENM, the film will participate in the Far East Film Festival (FEFF) in Udine, Italy, running from April 24 to May 2. FEFF, known for promoting Asian cinema in Europe, will feature 11 Korean titles, including recent hits like "12.12: The Day" and "Exhuma," alongside "Alienoid: Return to the Future."
The director of FEFF, Sabrina Baracetti, expressed optimism about the film's reception in the West, highlighting its integration of various genres such as science fiction, martial arts, mystery, comedy, drama, and action. Baracetti encouraged audiences to watch both parts of the "Alienoid" series for the best experience.
Additionally, "Alienoid: Return to the Future" has been selected for the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), which will be held from April 9 to 21 in Belgium. BIFFF, renowned for celebrating horror, thriller, and science fiction genres, will screen the film on April 13 alongside other Korean productions like "Exhuma" and "The Sin."
