American pop star Charlie Puth is set to hold a solo concert in Korea this December, Live Nation Korea announced on Thursday. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter will perform at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul’s Guro District on December 7, marking his first solo concert in Korea in over a year.
Tickets for the highly anticipated event will be available through Interpark Ticket, with general sales starting at noon on October 18. Fans will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive presale, beginning with artist presales on October 16 at noon, followed by a second presale for Live Nation Korea members on October 17.
Charlie Puth first visited Korea in 2015 to promote his debut album and has since built a dedicated fanbase in the country. His previous Seoul concerts, held in 2016, 2018, and 2023, were all met with rave reviews, with last year’s show at KSPO Dome selling out quickly.
Puth rose to international fame in 2015 with "See You Again," a collaboration with American rapper Wiz Khalifa for the Furious 7 soundtrack. The hit song dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks, firmly establishing Puth as a global star.
The singer-songwriter has maintained strong ties with the Korean music industry. In 2022, he collaborated with BTS member Jung Kook on the chart-topping single "Left and Right." Earlier this year, in May, Puth teamed up with K-pop group Stray Kids on the track "Lose My Breath."
As fans eagerly await his December concert, Puth’s continued collaboration with prominent K-pop artists highlights his ongoing connection with Korean music and culture.
