Known as a maverick in the Korean art scene, artist Ahn Chang Hong, who navigates themes of grotesqueness and fantasy, is holding a solo exhibition at Yeoju Art Museum until December 1.
This exhibition showcases over 80 pieces, including both signature works and new creations, reflecting the artist's unique visual language on Korean society and human existence.
Born in 1953 in Miryang, Ahn is renowned for having developed his distinctive style as a self-taught artist.
The artist explores themes of digitalization and the diminishing identity of individuals in modern society, embedding these ideas into his works.
Through this exhibition, visitors are invited to engage with the artist's striking expressions and reflect on their own identity as modern individuals.
