TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has set a new milestone in the U.S. music industry, securing two additional Gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This achievement solidifies the group’s expanding influence in the North American market.
On February 6 (local time), the RIAA updated its official Gold & Platinum certification records, announcing that TXT’s 0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) and Blue Hour (Korean title: 5시 53분의 하늘에서 발견한 너와 나) have both been certified Gold.
The RIAA awards certifications based on U.S. sales and streaming numbers, with Gold requiring 500,000 units, Platinum 1 million, Multi-Platinum 2 million, and Diamond 10 million. With these two new additions, TXT now holds three Gold-certified works, following their first RIAA Gold certification for their fifth EP, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, in 2023.
This accomplishment is particularly significant as TXT became the first K-pop act since BTS to achieve multiple Gold certifications from the RIAA. It underscores the group’s growing popularity and solidified fanbase in North America, a key market for global success.
0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) was the title track of TXT’s second studio album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, released in 2021. The hybrid pop-rock song captures a young boy’s unwavering confidence in love, blending emotional depth with TXT’s signature sonic style.
Meanwhile, Blue Hour, released in October 2020 as the title track of their third EP, minisode1: Blue Hour, narrates the complex emotions of youth—simultaneously feeling familiarity and estrangement while watching an autumn sunset. The song resonated deeply with listeners for its introspective yet uplifting themes.
As TXT continues to break records, their next major endeavor is their upcoming European tour. Beginning with concerts in Incheon’s Inspire Arena from March 7 to 9, the tour will take them to Barcelona on March 20, London on March 25, Berlin on March 27, Paris on March 30, and Amsterdam on April 1. With growing global recognition and a strengthened foothold in the Western music industry, TXT’s trajectory continues to rise.
