To commemorate their 10th debut anniversary, MAMAMOO has released a special remake album titled MAMAMOO 10th Anniversary Remake – Coloring Project Vol. 1. The album became available across various music platforms on January 21, as announced by their agency, RBW.

This album is part of a broader project to reinterpret some of MAMAMOO’s iconic hits, allowing emerging musicians to infuse their unique styles into the group’s well-loved tracks. The project kicked off in September 2024, when RBW and ColorTunes hosted an open call for musicians, ultimately selecting eight teams to participate.

The first volume of the remake project includes four tracks, each offering a fresh take on MAMAMOO’s classics. Featured songs include Vanilla Moose’s rendition of HIP, DEER’s cover of Um Oh Ah Yeh, Sara Jung’s version of Starry Night, and Cotwo’s interpretation of Rainy Season. These reimagined versions honor the spirit of the originals while highlighting the creativity of the participating artists.

The remake project will unfold over two volumes. The second volume is scheduled for release on January 27, promising fans more innovative tributes to MAMAMOO’s extensive discography.

MAMAMOO debuted in 2014 and quickly rose to fame with their powerful vocals, vibrant performances, and distinctive musical style. Over the past decade, the group has solidified its place in K-pop history with hits like HIP, Um Oh Ah Yeh, and Starry Night, becoming a symbol of individuality and artistry in the industry.
