SEOUL — G-Dragon’s media exhibition “G-Dragon Media Exhibition: Übermensch” is expanding internationally, with upcoming stops confirmed for Japan and Taiwan, according to a statement released Monday by his agency, Galaxy Corporation.
Jointly produced by Galaxy Corporation and media technology studio Creative Mut, the exhibition integrates advanced visual technologies such as virtual reality, holograms, and 3D motion graphics. These elements are designed to reflect the introspective and philosophical themes of G-Dragon’s third full-length album, Übermensch.
The exhibition’s Japan leg is set to take place from July 12 to 21 at the Triangle Plaza of the Sumitomo Building in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The event will be open to the public in a festival-style format, featuring daisy-themed interactive zones where fans can enjoy temporary tattoos, take photos, and immerse themselves in the artist’s world.
Highlights of the Tokyo edition include holographic displays and a recreation of the “Drama” music video set, complete with a rotating stage and original props. Opening day will feature a “Fam Day” event exclusively for members of G-Dragon’s Japanese fan club. Official merchandise and interactive photo booths will also be available onsite.
To promote the event, a 3D teaser video featuring G-Dragon waving a daisy-shaped light stick was displayed at Cross Shinjuku Vision from June 28 to 30, drawing significant public attention.
Following Tokyo, the exhibition will be held in Taipei from July 17 to August 11, occupying three floors of the landmark Taipei 101 building. While the Tokyo stop emphasizes a celebratory, festival atmosphere, the Taiwan edition will offer a more immersive and emotionally resonant experience. Organizers describe it as a “multi-layered encounter” designed to deepen understanding of the Übermensch philosophy.
A preview released on the exhibition’s official social media channels (@i_i_exh) showcases elements of the Taipei experience, including neon-lit alleyways, vintage television sets, and flickering analog screens featuring G-Dragon’s image.
Tickets for the Tokyo exhibition are currently available via Qoo10. Further cities and dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
