K-pop sensation Twice will celebrate its 9th debut anniversary with a fan meetup in Seoul next month, JYP Entertainment announced on Thursday. The nine-member girl group will connect with fans through two sessions of the event titled "Home 9round," scheduled for October 20.
In keeping with the playful theme suggested by the title, the fan meeting will adopt a baseball concept, offering a fun and interactive experience for fans. While the first event will be held in person, the second will be live-streamed, allowing global fans to join in the celebration online.
Twice has enjoyed immense global popularity since its debut in 2015, establishing itself as one of the leading K-pop girl groups. The upcoming fan meeting comes just months after the group concluded its fifth world tour in July. The tour, which included performances across major cities, drew a staggering total of 1.5 million attendees, cementing Twice's status as a global powerhouse in the music industry.
As fans eagerly await the anniversary event, member Tzuyu has also been making headlines with her solo career. Her debut solo album Aboutzu, released earlier this month, debuted at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 chart and topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 11 regions. Tzuyu’s solo success has been a significant milestone for both the artist and the group.
In addition, Twice’s first subunit, Misamo—composed of members Mina, Sana, and Momo—will release their second EP, Haute Couture, on November 6. Misamo's previous works have showcased their charms and versatility, and fans are highly anticipating this new release.
Twice’s sustained success, both as a group and through individual projects, continues to demonstrate the group's lasting impact on the global music scene. As they celebrate their 9th year together, Twice is showing no signs of slowing down, with both group and solo activities continuing to resonate with fans worldwide.
