SHINee’s Onew to Return with Mini Album ‘Connection’ and Solo Concert Tour

Onew, a member of SHINee, has announced his highly anticipated comeback and solo concert plans for 2025. On December 16, Onew unveiled the promotional schedule for his fourth mini-album, Connection, confirming his return to the music scene on January 6, 2025.
The promotional teaser showcased Onew amidst the grandeur of a European-style mansion, exuding elegance and sophistication. The photos, shot entirely on location in Prague, Czech Republic, hint at the exotic allure of the title track, further raising anticipation for the upcoming album.
According to SM Entertainment, Onew has continued to evolve as a solo artist, having actively participated in the production and lyric-writing of all tracks in his previous releases. This album is expected to further highlight his growth and musical prowess.
The countdown to his comeback will include an extensive promotional rollout, featuring three concept photo sets, a tracklist, an album preview, and two music video teasers. Fans can expect a rich narrative and stunning visuals that align with the album's refined aesthetic.
In addition to his new album, Onew will embark on a solo concert tour titled 2025 Onew the Live: Connection, visiting four cities across Asia. The tour will commence at Yokohama Arena in Japan on February 15–16, followed by performances at Seoul’s Olympic Hall on February 21–23, Taipei Music Center on April 5, and Macau Broadway Theatre on April 20.
