Today (Nov 1), Universal Music announced that Hye Yoon, recently signed to the label, will release a special collaboration single with pop sensation Armani White. The news was accompanied by a surprise video shared by Hye Yoon on social media in which she is seen video-calling Armani White, exchanging musical ideas, and discussing the upcoming track.
Their friendship was first revealed in August when Armani White visited Korea for a festival. The two exchanged gifts and attended an after-party together, establishing a close bond that has now led to a collaboration. Armani White is set to feature on Hye Yoon’s debut solo single, sparking excitement among fans eager to hear the musical chemistry between the two global stars.
Hye Yoon, previously a member of the global pop group Now United, has spent the past five years performing worldwide, releasing over 100 singles and music videos, and selling out stadiums and arenas in more than 30 countries. Her upcoming solo debut promises to captivate international audiences, with high-profile features adding a global flair.
Armani White, the rapper who shot to fame with his 2022 hit "BILLIE EILISH.," continues to be a cultural force. The song inspired the viral “Big T-Shirt Challenge” and has accumulated over 500 million streams worldwide, with TikTok views surpassing 10 billion. His subsequent track "GOATED." featuring Denzel Curry, also achieved widespread success, prompting K-pop idols from groups like NewJeans, NCT Dream, ENHYPEN, TXT, and ATEEZ to join the “GOATED.” challenge.
With this collaboration, Hye Yoon and Armani White are poised to deliver a fresh, genre-blending sound, setting the stage for Hye Yoon’s promising solo career on the global music scene.
