NMIXX has proven their growing global popularity, successfully capturing the hearts of Japanese fans during their second fan concert, "NMIXX CHANGE UP: MIXX LAB", held on January 11-12 at the Lala Arena Tokyo Bay. The concert marked NMIXX's first solo performance in Japan, and the event's overwhelming demand led to a swift sellout of all seats. A total of 21,300 fans attended the two-day event, showcasing NMIXX’s expanding influence in the region.
During the concert, NMIXX delivered an electrifying performance of their popular songs, including "Run For Roses", "Soñar Breaker", "Young, Dumb, Stupid", "Dash", and "별별별". Their powerful live vocals and stunning choreography drew enthusiastic applause from the audience. The group also treated fans to a special cover of Japanese singer-songwriter Aimyon's "Marigold", demonstrating their versatility and ability to connect with the local culture.
In addition to their music performances, NMIXX engaged their fans in various interactive game segments, creating an even more memorable experience. The group expressed their joy and gratitude during the event, with NMIXX members sharing heartfelt messages with their fanbase, "We’re so happy to start this year with our fans, EN-ssar," they said. "It feels like one of our New Year's wishes has already come true, and we’re grateful for your support."
The event was a testament to NMIXX’s increasing global presence, and the group expressed their appreciation for the fans' unwavering support. "Thanks to your encouragement, we feel like we can do anything. We are truly thankful," they said, closing the meaningful event on a high note.
Building on the success of their Japan concert, NMIXX will continue their global tour with upcoming fan concerts in Latin America. From February 19-20, the group will perform in Mexico City, followed by shows in Santiago on February 22-23, and São Paulo on February 28. NMIXX is set to expand their reach and solidify their status as a global K-pop force.
A representative from their agency stated, "With this global fan concert series, NMIXX is poised to further strengthen their global presence. The group will continue to shine as one of the most prominent acts in K-pop." NMIXX’s international success has already been marked by their appearance at the Billboard Latin Music Week and as the first K-pop artists featured on NPR Music’s main channel, further solidifying their global standing.
