SEOUL — Singer BoA will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her debut with two solo concerts at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in southern Seoul on August 30 and 31, her agency SM Entertainment announced Monday.
The shows mark BoA’s return to the stage in Korea after a 10-month hiatus, following performances in Seoul, Taiwan, and Singapore as part of her “One’s Own” concert tour.
BoA debuted on August 25, 2000, and has since become one of K-pop’s most enduring and influential artists. Her anniversary concerts are expected to highlight key moments from her extensive career.
In addition to the Seoul concerts, BoA will embark on a Japan tour in the fall, with scheduled stops in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo from September through November.
BoA is known for numerous hit songs, including “Atlantis Princess” (2003), “Eat You Up” (2008), “Hurricane Venus” (2010), and “Only One” (2012).
Further details regarding ticketing and show programs are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
