The art world is set to witness a landmark event as a Korean art fair takes center stage in Bangkok, Thailand. From December 4 to 7, Access Bangkok will be held at ICONSIAM, a premier cultural venue in the city. Organized by Art Meets Life (AML), the event represents the first Korean art fair to expand overseas, marking a significant step in fostering artistic collaboration between Korea and Thailand.

Supported by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, as well as the Arts Management Support Center, Access Bangkok is part of the "Overseas Hosting of Domestic Art Fairs" initiative. This groundbreaking art fair features a total of 30 galleries, including 12 leading Korean galleries such as Johyun Gallery, Gallery2, and ThisWeekendRoom, alongside 9 prominent Thai galleries, including Nova Contemporary and SAC Gallery.

AML emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “Access Bangkok is a pioneering venture that not only introduces Korean art fairs to a global audience but also serves as a crucial milestone in the artistic exchange and market development between Korea and Thailand.”

The event will showcase a diverse array of contemporary artworks, ranging from paintings and sculptures to multimedia installations. By bringing together influential galleries and artists from both countries, Access Bangkok aims to create a dynamic platform for cultural dialogue and commerce.

ICONSIAM, known for its luxurious and innovative space, provides a fitting backdrop for the event, offering attendees an immersive experience that blends cutting-edge art with the vibrant energy of Bangkok. The fair is expected to attract collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts from across Asia and beyond.
