Stray Kids’ Seungmin Offers a Melancholic Yet Hopeful Anthem in New Solo Track

Stray Kids member Seungmin is poised to resonate with the youth through his heartfelt solo track. The group unveiled a teaser for the song So Slowly, Together on November 26 via their official social media channels, part of the much-anticipated album SKZHIP HOP: 合 (HOP).
The 37-second clip opens with Seungmin reflecting deeply, his expression hinting at unresolved thoughts. As the video progresses, he is seen running forward, visually symbolizing youthful resilience and self-discovery. Accompanied by snippets of the song’s lyrics, the teaser concludes with a poignant line: “In our own way / Dreaming of a day when the world turns its greenest.”
The album, titled SKZHIP HOP, is a creative fusion of Stray Kids’ team abbreviation (SKZ) and the hip-hop genre, marking a bold experiment in pushing the boundaries of their music. The project features 12 tracks, including the title song Walkin’ on Water, the motivational anthem Bounce Back, and U, a collaboration with celebrated rapper Tablo.
The album also boasts solo contributions from all eight members. Seungmin’s So Slowly, Together stands out as a reflective piece, echoing themes of hope amidst life’s trials. Fans who attended their ongoing dominATE world tour may already recognize some of these solo performances, which have been integrated into the album.
Stray Kids continues to dominate the global music scene. Their expansive world tour includes major stadium performances across Latin America, North America, and Europe, cementing their reputation as one of the foremost K-pop acts on the international stage.
Adding to their accolades, the group has been nominated for the 67th Grammy Awards in the Best Compilation Soundtrack category with their album SLASH. This marks another milestone in their career as they aim for two consecutive Billboard Music Awards victories, being nominated in categories including Top Duo/Group.
Fans eagerly await the release of SKZHIP HOP: 合 (HOP) on December 13, 2 PM KST (midnight EST), which promises to be a celebration of the group’s artistry and their message of perseverance and self-expression.
