(G)I-DLE Brings World Tour Experience to Cinemas with 'I am FREE-TY in Cinema'

K-pop powerhouse (G)I-DLE is set to captivate audiences once again, this time on the big screen. On January 8, 2025, "I am FREE-TY in Cinema," a concert film capturing the electrifying moments of their third world tour’s Seoul concert, will be released in theaters. The film promises an immersive concert experience, bringing the group’s dynamic performances to fans worldwide.
The official announcement by CJ 4DPLEX on December 20 was accompanied by the release of the movie’s main poster. The poster features the group standing center stage at the packed KSPO Dome, surrounded by thousands of fans, encapsulating the grandeur and energy of the Seoul concert.
The concert film highlights (G)I-DLE’s celebrated live performances, featuring a setlist of fan-favorite hits such as "Super Lady," "LATATA," "Queencard," and "TOMBOY." From the powerful opening number to the final encore, the film offers an up-close look at the group’s musical versatility and stage presence. A production representative emphasized, “This film captures the unforgettable energy of the concert with enhanced scale and power-packed performances, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
"I am FREE-TY in Cinema" follows the global success of (G)I-DLE’s third world tour, which launched with a two-day concert in Seoul on August 3 and 4. The tour spanned 14 cities, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Auckland, Anaheim, Taipei, Bangkok, Macau, Melbourne, and Sydney, drawing fans from around the globe.
To recreate the magic of the live shows, the film will be available in cutting-edge formats such as ScreenX, 4DX, and Ultra 4DX. These technologies promise to deliver an immersive experience, allowing viewers to feel as if they are part of the audience. The film will be exclusively screened at CGV theaters, ensuring high-quality visuals and sound.
