Jimin, a member of the global sensation BTS, will showcase his solo career through a dedicated exhibition in central Seoul from October 11 to November 3, according to his label, Big Hit Music. The exhibit, designed to immerse fans in Jimin’s creative journey, highlights his evolution as a solo artist through his first and second solo EPs, “Face” and “Muse.”
The exhibition will be divided into two main sections, each focusing on one of the EPs. Through this arrangement, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of Jimin’s artistic process and emotional experiences during the making of these albums. The interactive installations include ripple effects, distorted mirrors, and recreated sets from his music videos, offering an engaging and visually stimulating experience. Additionally, behind-the-scenes content will be featured, along with a special handwritten letter from Jimin, giving fans a rare glimpse into the artist’s personal reflections and creative inspirations.
Jimin's second EP, “Muse,” continues to perform well on the charts, having remained on the Billboard 200 for six weeks, ranking at No. 80 as of the chart dated September 7. The lead single, “Who,” has also garnered significant attention, peaking at No. 12 on the Hot 100 and maintaining a spot at No. 38 for the same week. These achievements underscore Jimin’s ability to captivate global audiences not only as a member of BTS but also as a solo artist.
The exhibition is expected to attract thousands of fans, offering them a chance to explore Jimin's solo career in an intimate and artistic setting. Through this event, Jimin demonstrates his versatility as a performer and an artist, emphasizing his growing influence both within the K-pop industry and beyond. The exhibition, combining innovative technology with deeply personal artistic expression, showcases Jimin’s dedication to pushing boundaries in both music and visual storytelling.
This exhibit follows a series of successful solo releases that have expanded Jimin’s profile as a solo performer, distinguishing him from his group work with BTS. As fans anticipate future projects, the exhibition serves as a testament to Jimin's growing impact as a solo artist and his ongoing evolution in the music industry.
