LE SSERAFIM Raises Anticipation for Comeback with Mini Album 'HOT'

LE SSERAFIM has ignited excitement ahead of their comeback with the unveiling of their upcoming mini-album. On the 4th, Source Music released the official tracklist for LE SSERAFIM’s 5th mini-album, "HOT", offering a preview of the album’s sonic direction. The album features five tracks, each showcasing a distinct musical style.
The title track, "HOT", leads the album alongside "Born Fire," "Come Over," "Ash," and "So Cynical." The title track blends elements of rock and disco-infused pop, marking a new artistic direction for the group. This comeback holds special significance as it is the first time since debut that LE SSERAFIM’s title track explores themes of love.
Lyrically, "HOT" conveys an intense message about burning everything for passion, regardless of the outcome. The track embodies LE SSERAFIM’s signature fearless energy, reinforcing their reputation for delivering bold and empowering concepts.
The production lineup for the album includes renowned industry figures. Ali Tamposi, known for hits like "Señorita" by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello and "IDOL" by BTS, has contributed to the album. Additionally, Pelle Pelle, who previously collaborated with LE SSERAFIM on their first full album's title track, "UNFORGIVEN," has returned to work on the project.
British band Jungle’s members, Josh Lloyd and Lydia Kitto, participated in crafting "Come Over," bringing a unique vintage and dreamy aesthetic to the track while infusing it with LE SSERAFIM’s distinct musical identity.
The members’ involvement in the album’s production is also notable. Huh Yun Jin has contributed to the title track as well as "Ash" and "So Cynical," solidifying her role as a key creative force in the group. Additionally, Kim Chae Won and Hong Eun Chae have lent their talents to "So Cynical," showcasing the group’s deepening artistic participation.
LE SSERAFIM’s "HOT" is set to be released on major streaming platforms on the 14th at 1 PM (KST). The album encapsulates the group’s unwavering passion and dedication, delivering a powerful message about giving one's all for what they love.
