The lineup for Lollapalooza Chicago 2024, one of the world’s largest music festivals, was officially announced on March 19 (KST) via its social media channels. This year’s festival will see a strong K-pop presence, with multiple Korean artists taking the stage.
Among them, TWICE stands out as the only K-pop act headlining the festival, joining global stars such as Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Doechii. This marks another significant milestone for TWICE as they bring their powerful live performances to Grant Park’s main stage, following their successful fifth world tour, "READY TO BE."
Other K-pop groups, including BOYNEXTDOOR, KATSEYE, KICKFLIP, and Xdinary Heroes, will also heat the summer stage as part of the festival’s diverse roster. These rising acts are set to showcase their unique sounds and performance styles, further solidifying K-pop’s presence in the global music scene.
Lollapalooza, originally launched in Chicago in 1991, has become one of the most prestigious music festivals worldwide. Beyond its flagship event in the U.S., the festival also takes place in France, Brazil, Argentina, and Germany, drawing millions of music fans each year.
The 2024 Lollapalooza Chicago festival will be held from July 31 to August 3 at Grant Park. It will feature eight stages and 170 artists and groups. As anticipation builds, K-pop fans around the world are eager to witness their favorite idols perform on such a prestigious platform.
