ZeroBaseOne (ZB1) has secured its position as a rising force in the global K-pop scene by earning a spot on Billboard's Staff Picks: Best K-Pop Albums of 2024. The group’s third mini-album, You Had Me at HELLO, ranked 15th on the prestigious list, cementing their international acclaim.
Billboard praised the album for its impressive sales figures and sophisticated production quality, highlighting the depth and harmony of the tracks. "The blend of refined production and satisfying details creates an impactful experience, while the variety of tempos and genres showcases the album’s versatility and depth," the review noted.
ZeroBaseOne’s success extends beyond the U.S. The group made waves in Japan, where their debut single, Yura Yura - Unmei no Hana, ranked 16th on Billboard Japan’s annual Top Single Sales chart. Released only a week earlier, the single achieved "half-million seller" status, marking a significant milestone for the group.
Adding to their achievements, Yura Yura - Unmei no Hana topped Tower Records' 2024 Bestsellers: K-Pop Top 20 chart, solidifying ZeroBaseOne’s growing popularity in the Japanese market. This milestone reflects the group’s steady rise and sustained momentum throughout the year.
The group recently concluded its first overseas tour, spanning eight major regions worldwide. The tour attracted approximately 140,000 fans, marking an impressive finale to their large-scale international performances.
Next, ZeroBaseOne is set to take the stage at the 2024 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan, held on December 15 at Fukuoka’s Mizuno PayPay Dome. This performance will further showcase their global appeal as they connect with international fans.
