Tunji Adeni-Jones' solo exhibition will be held at the White Cube Gallery in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, until February 22.
The exhibition will feature 11 new paintings exploring themes of African identity, autonomy, and the identity of minority immigrants.
Notably, the artist incorporates pearl white, inspired by Seoul's white smog and the symbolic use of white in Korean culture.
His work, which blurs the lines between abstraction and figuration, portrays figures merging with nature.
Influenced by the West African belief in the healing power of nature, the artist uses this as a narrative tool in his work.
The exhibition offers visitors a new perspective that connects the artist's identity, African culture, and nature.
