SEVENTEEN’s special unit, Hoshi and Woozi, has demonstrated strong album sales power with their debut single.
According to Hanteo Chart on March 11, Hoshi and Woozi’s first single album BEAM topped the daily album sales chart on the previous day. The title track, Same Age, soared to the top tier of Bugs' real-time chart immediately upon release and entered the rankings of Melon's Top 100 and Genie’s real-time charts.
Their global influence was also evident. The single charted in the Top Songs rankings of iTunes in 17 countries and regions, while the B-side track, Pinocchio, secured a spot in the Top 10 of 10 different regions.
International media took notice as well. Rolling Stone highlighted Hoshi and Woozi as a duo that "fans have long been waiting for," while People described them as "brilliant creative directors."
