Hidden M Gallery will host Moments Infused, a group exhibition featuring works by Kwon So Young, Wu Ji Yoon, and Yoon Hye Jin. Running from March 6 to March 27, the exhibition showcases how these three artists capture fleeting moments and reinterpret them through painting, embedding sensations and narratives within their visual landscapes.
Kwon So Young’s work emerges from an intuitive perception of nature, which she transforms into reimagined landscapes. Her art captures moments of deep connection with nature, where latent emotions and sensations awaken, much like an unconscious dialogue between the self and the environment. Through close observation and meticulous documentation of natural phenomena, Kwon constructs a layered world that merges physical reality, sensory perception, and the unseen. Her paintings do not merely depict nature; instead, they embody its organic movements, emphasizing the interconnectedness of all things.
Her works dissolve the boundary between human consciousness and the natural world, presenting fluid expressions of remembered moments. These memories shift and evolve based on her subjective awareness, resulting in synesthetic imagery that intertwines feeling and form. Through this, Kwon’s paintings propose a new mode of interaction between humans and nature, one that extends beyond passive observation.Wu Ji Yoon, meanwhile, focuses on the subtle, intimate moments that permeate everyday life. While her past works explored unattainable places linked to memories, this exhibition shifts her gaze to the present, deepening her exploration of sensations experienced in real-time.
She records the traces left by prolonged observation and affection toward her subjects, shaping spaces that are emotionally significant rather than physically defined. Through continuous brushstrokes and layered compositions, her works construct places that exist not in geography but in accumulated memory and feeling. These painted spaces function as repositories for the truth embedded in personal experiences—fragmented moments that, when pieced together, create a sense of home.

Wu immerses herself in the present, capturing the authenticity of transient moments and the quiet truths they hold. Her paintings blur the boundary between past and present, inviting viewers to engage with spaces shaped not by physicality but by lived experiences and emotions.
Yoon Hye Jin approaches perception through a hazy lens, questioning the act of "seeing" by exploring abstraction and form. Rather than confronting endings directly, her works take an indirect approach, contemplating the inevitable conclusion that accompanies every beginning.
Her paintings are characterized by blurred outlines, where shape, color, and atmosphere take precedence over concrete imagery. Within these shifting scenes, viewers are encouraged to anticipate the next moment, following an organic flow of visual association. By layering pigments and allowing unexpected brushstrokes to emerge, Yoon discovers new compositional elements, constructing her works through intuitive exploration.
The presence of circular forms, fluid curves, and divided canvases leads the viewer to imagine unseen narratives beyond the frame. Her use of layered color and shifting compositions creates what she describes as "colors that can be felt but not easily defined," transforming the act of seeing into a multisensory experience.
Yoon’s works oscillate between figuration and abstraction, encouraging viewers to search for meaning while resisting fixed interpretation. Her paintings exist within an ever-expanding narrative, transcending time and space to invite viewers into a dynamic, evolving visual experience.
Through Moments Infused, the three artists present distinct yet interconnected approaches to capturing fleeting moments and their imprints on memory. While Kwon So Young explores the fluidity of perception in nature, Wu Ji Yoon constructs intimate, emotionally resonant spaces, and Yoon Hye Jin blurs the boundaries between seen and unseen, figuration and abstraction.
Not every moment in life remains vividly etched in memory, yet some linger within us, subtly shaping our emotions and perceptions. This exhibition offers a space to explore how such moments are translated into visual language, allowing viewers to engage with their own embedded memories and experience the interplay of time, space, and sensation through painting.
