BTS’ Jin Passes 1 Billion Spotify Streams With “Don’t Say You Love Me”

BTS member Jin’s solo song “Don’t Say You Love Me” has surpassed 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify.
According to Spotify’s public count on August 18, the song reached the mark approximately one year and three months after its release. It is Jin’s first solo track to record 1 billion streams and his most-streamed song as a solo artist.
“Don’t Say You Love Me” was released on May 16, 2025, as the lead single from Jin’s second solo EP, Echo. The pop song depicts two people who struggle to separate as their relationship comes to an end.
The song reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart. It also peaked at No. 2 on the platform’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart.
“Don’t Say You Love Me” debuted at No. 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated May 31, 2025. It became Jin’s third solo entry on the chart following “The Astronaut” and “Running Wild.”
The track peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 4 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
Echo entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3 during the same chart week. It remains the highest-charting solo album of Jin’s career.
The seven-track EP also includes “Nothing Without Your Love,” “Loser (feat. YENA),” “Rope It,” “With the Clouds,” “Background” and “To Me, Today.”
