BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is set to captivate audiences once again with her upcoming solo mini-album AMORTAGE. On February 1 and 2, her agency BLISU unveiled two striking cover images via Jisoo’s official social media channels, offering a glimpse into the bold and diverse aesthetics of her highly anticipated return.
The teasers showcase Jisoo’s multifaceted charm. One image features her dramatically emerging through a torn wall, exuding an air of raw intensity. Her newly styled permed hair adds an unexpected yet refreshing touch to her look.
In contrast, the second cover presents a more enigmatic allure. Dressed in an all-black sheer outfit accessorized with a cross-shaped pendant, Jisoo commands attention with her deep gaze and photogenic elegance. The visuals have heightened anticipation for her new release, hinting at a refined and immersive artistic direction.
AMORTAGE marks Jisoo’s first solo release in two years. Her 2023 solo debut single FLOWER cemented her status as an all-round performer, showcasing her unique vocal color and stylistic versatility.
The album title combines the words Amor (meaning "love" in Latin) and Montage, suggesting a cinematic approach to romance and emotions. Through meticulously crafted music and visuals, Jisoo aims to create an experience reminiscent of a romance film, blending narrative depth with artistic sophistication.
Her agency expressed confidence in the project, stating, “Jisoo is exploring new creative concepts with this album. She will present a chameleonic range of styles that will captivate global audiences.”
With expectations running high, Jisoo is set to officially release AMORTAGE on February 14 at 2 PM (KST), delivering an artistic evolution that fans worldwide eagerly await.
