Korean contemporary artist, Ha-nuk Jung holds a solo exhibition 'Life Support Activities' in Seoul.
Jung is a Korean contemporary artist who creates works with his experimental spirit, such as the contrast between real objects and abstract images, the combination of heterogeneous materials, the mixing of Eastern and Western images, and the mixing of time and space.
In the exhibition, he reveals new works that compare the figures of Greek mythical figures and mythos to concepts left by modern philosophers.
He has been working to intuitively connect the appearance of the gods imagined by humans with the colors and appearances of the planets that can be seen through actual observations, and in the exhibition, he added detailed themes and elements to the expression method.
Jung refers to himself as an acrobat and compares himself to an artist who has to perform acrobatics named creation in a mythical story. He is an acrobat, floating between the ground and the sky, and a cloud trying to maintain his existence.
The artist said, "I hope the audience can think freely about each person's life support activities in modern society".
The exhibition will be held at the Gallery Royal in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from the 26th to March 7th next year.
