Actor On Joo-wan is publicly displaying his affection and support for his fiancée, singer and actress Bang Min-ah, as their November wedding date approaches. The couple, who announced their engagement in July, continues to show their strong bond through social media posts and public appearances.
On Saturday, On Joo-wan shared photos on social media from his visit to see Bang Min-ah perform in the musical "Maybe Happy Ending." He expressed both his admiration for the production and his pride in his future wife's performance. "It's such a lovely play," he wrote in his post. "I want to see it again, but getting tickets is like reaching for the stars. I'm so proud."
The musical "Maybe Happy Ending" is set in near-future Seoul and tells the story of helper-bots Oliver and Claire as they discover the emotion of love. Bang Min-ah, formerly a member of the popular girl group Girl's Day, stars alongside notable actors Park Jin-joo, Lee Si-an, and Park Se-hoon. The production is particularly significant as it marks its 10th anniversary this year, and its writer, Hue Park, made history by becoming the first Korean musical creator to win a Tony Award.
On Joo-wan and Bang Min-ah surprised their fans when they announced their engagement in July. According to statements from their respective entertainment agencies, the couple has been in a serious relationship and will hold a private wedding ceremony in November. The agencies released a joint statement saying, "We ask for warm blessings and support for the two as they begin a new chapter in their lives together."
The couple's love story began when they first met while co-starring in the 2016 SBS drama "Beautiful Gong Shim." Their relationship deepened after they appeared together again in the 2021 musical "The Days," which helped strengthen their bond both professionally and personally. Their journey from co-stars to engaged couple has captured the attention of fans who have followed their careers over the years.
