Jimin of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS continues to make waves in the music industry with his solo music, maintaining his spots on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts. As of the latest chart dated April 29, his first solo album “Face” ranks No. 58 on the main albums chart and the main track “Like Crazy” ranks No. 85 on the single chart, extending their stay for the fourth week in a row.

The success of Jimin's solo album is truly unprecedented in K-pop history. The EP debuted atop the Hot 100 chart earlier this month, making him the first K-pop musician to achieve this feat. Additionally, the album hit the albums chart at No. 2, which is the highest spot ever achieved by a K-pop act. In the first week alone, Jimin's solo album sold more than 1.45 million units, setting a record for a soloist’s album in K-pop history.

While Jimin's solo music continues to dominate the charts, the artist himself has also been making headlines with his recent ambassadorship for the American luxury jeweler, Tiffany. In March, Jimin was named the global ambassador for Tiffany, and he attended the opening ceremony of the jeweler's newly renovated flagship store in New York on Tuesday. His attendance at the event drew a crowd of excited fans, and his presence highlighted the increasing crossover between K-pop and the fashion and luxury industries.

Jimin's success as a solo artist is a testament to the power and influence of K-pop music, as well as the dedication and talent of its performers. As BTS and other K-pop acts continue to gain global recognition, it is clear that the industry is on an upward trajectory, and its impact is only set to grow in the coming years. With Jimin at the forefront of this movement, fans can expect many more exciting developments to come.
