In a remarkable milestone, Jungkook of BTS has seen his debut solo single, "Seven," surpass 200 million views on YouTube, as confirmed by the group's agency, BigHit Music, on Friday.

The video achieved this significant feat around 5 p.m. the previous day, just 55 days after its initial upload to the global video sharing platform.

"Seven" is described as "a passionate serenade" that articulates the desire to be constantly by one's lover's side. Released on July 14, this summery pop song features American female rapper Latto and seamlessly blends a captivating melody with the rhythmic influences of the U.K. garage genre.

The international appeal of "Seven" is undeniable, as it ascended to the coveted No. 1 position on the U.S. Billboard's Hot 100 main singles chart and secured a respectable No. 3 on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100.

Furthermore, the single maintained its dominance on the Billboard Global 200 chart for seven consecutive weeks and secured the third spot on Spotify's list of the most-streamed songs during this summer.

Jungkook's undeniable success with "Seven" has earned him a nomination in the prestigious Song of Summer category at the upcoming 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The highly anticipated awards ceremony is slated to take place on Tuesday, U.S. time, at the renowned Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

In another exciting development, Jungkook is set to headline the 2023 Global Citizen Festival on September 23. This large-scale charity concert, taking place in New York City's iconic Central Park, further solidifies his status as a global music sensation and philanthropic advocate.
