SM Entertainment announced on Friday that Mark, a member of NCT, is poised to release his inaugural solo album in February of next year.

The lead-up to Mark's solo venture includes the release of a single album titled "200," scheduled for May 16. The album will feature two tracks: the titular "200" and "200 (Minhyung’s Ver.)." Fans received a surprise teaser when Mark unveiled a video clip showcasing his rendition of the lead single while accompanying himself on acoustic guitar.

Mark has previously showcased his solo abilities through songs like "Child" and "Golden Hour," released as part of NCT's singles project in 2022 and 2023, respectively. "Child" notably reached the top spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 14 regions.

In parallel to his solo endeavors, Mark will embark on a tour of Japan as a member of NCT Dream, commencing in Osaka on Saturday.
